Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is widely praised as the pioneer of modern research of the eyewitness memory of children and using child victims to be legal witnesses. Professor Goodman publishes widely has received many grants and has received several international and national awards. She has offered consulting on research and policy for numerous government agencies and departments from all over the world. She also serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center), of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She was a part of several professional associations, such as that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She is the former president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
