The beauty of Alana De La Garza has made an impression even on tiny screens. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother and an Irish mother and a Mexican father, in Columbus Ohio. She moved to Texas to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she soon moved into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of acting roles, including independent local films and commercials. Despite having small parts, De La Garza soon realized that she was drawn to acting. After 2001, she relocated from the Midwest to New York where her first part was in All My Children's soap opera as Rosa Santos. In the early 2000s the small part she played was in JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in the year 2004 on the short dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. Her role most famous for was the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. In the course of a limited period, she was transferred over to Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been recognized several times for her performance in the show, including Best Supporting Actress in Television in the Imagen Foundation Awards. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama TV show. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character on CSI Miami. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are an Italian father as well as an older sister Cory which is a years older than her. She grew up in a family that was conservative and deeply spiritual. Milano's journey into the world of sports began when she was seven after her child's sitter brought her to an audition. With more than 1000 applicants, she was chosen among only four. Milano has appeared in ads both on Broadway and television, including the American musical version of Jane Eyre.
